A one-time, two-million dollar grant program, Invest Allegany made funds available to projects that were seeking to redevelop vacant or underutilized buildings in the downtowns and main streets across Allegany County, with a special emphasis on mixed-use and upper story living.

Allegany County Economic And Community Development Fsu Corridor

The City of Frostburg envisioned a corridor of high density housing and commercial activity, adjacent to Frostburg State University and leading to its historic Main Street. This mixed use development will be the first that will bring the student body closer to the community and attract more residents to the city.
