State Financing Programs

The Maryland Economic Development Assistance Authority and Fund provides businesses with four financing programs that can help offset the costs of locating and operating in Allegany County.

The programs can assist a company with up to 70% of their total project costs. The four programs can provide low interest loans, grants, bond financing, and bond insurance, among other things. The programs are geared to assisting businesses create economic development opportunities in communities throughout the state, and to encourage private investment in job growth and business infrastructure.
